We were really looking forward to the opening of this neighborhood restaurant. The service was attentive.The ramen tasted like mass-produced instant ramen, and the broth had an artificial flavor. The pork was far too greasy. The juicy dumplings were decent and probably the highlight of the meal.

We had a great experience at Azami Ramen & Sushi! The restaurant has a nice, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic. The food was beautifully presented and everything we tried was delicious. The ramen was especially good—the broth was rich and flavorful, and the pork belly was tender with a nice sear on the outside. We also really enjoyed the fish appetizer; it was fresh, beautifully plated, and the jalapeño added just the right amount of spice. The fried appetizer was crispy and went perfectly with the dipping sauce. We finished with the mochi ice cream assortment, which was a fun dessert to share and a great way to end the meal. Overall, the portions were generous, the presentation was impressive, and there was a nice variety of Japanese dishes to choose from. Combined with the great atmosphere and warm, enthusiastic service, it made for a very enjoyable dining experience. Definitely a good spot for ramen and Japanese food in Cary. We’ll be back!

I had the pleasure of finding this gem during their soft launch period. Azami’s interior is freshly renovated and the decor gives the restaurant a cozy, modern, and upscale feel. We ordered a few rolls and all of them were fresh, delicious, and wonderfully plated. My favorite rolls were the Brentwood Roll and the chefs special roll that was complimentarily given to us as a soft opening thank you! The juicy buns were absolutely incredible and exploded in my mouth with flavor (similar to a soup dumpling). Highly recommend trying the juicy buns as a starter. The mochi was quite possibly the best mochi I’ve had before. The waitstaff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive to our drinks and getting our food out promptly. Will be back many more times in the future!! 11/10 experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great meal at Azami Ramen & Sushi! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls were excellent, especially the crispy roll and the tuna-and-avocado roll with spicy sauce. The dumplings were delicious, the fried rice was packed with flavor, and even the edamame was perfectly prepared. The restaurant also has a stylish red, black, and gold interior that gives it a really cool atmosphere. Great food, generous portions, and a place I would absolutely visit again. Highly recommend!

My partner and I popped into Azami on a whim, noticed the grand opening signs! So glad we decided to be a little adventurous, what a gem! This used to be a PDQ, but you’d never know, the interior is sleek and polished- very cool! My partner got chicken hibachi and he loved it, loaded with flavor and veggies. He said he would definitely get again! I got the chirashi! It came out so beautiful! I loved all the variety you get. Typically chirashi can sometimes be a slog to eat everything, but I enjoyed every bite! There’s a nice furikake sprinkled over the rice giving it a nice flavor as well as having a good texture. I’m a little bit picky when it comes to rice, and this was good rice! It was also a nice treat to have tamago on a chirashi bowl! We also were given the chef special to try- apparently it doesn’t have an official name yet, whatever it was, it was tasty! There’s staff we’re so pleasant and efficient- we will definitely be back!
